If you would like to use SellingCars.co.uk to advertise your car/cars, you will need to register with us. To do this, simply follow these steps:
- Go to the Login screen and type your email address into the field marked "Email Address"
- Click the "Log-in" button
- You will be taken to a screen allowing you to enter your details, be sure to select the correct category either "Car Dealer" or "Private Seller"
- Fill in as much information as you can and click the "Save" button. We will email you a password to the email address you entered
- Once you have your password you will be able to log in and add a car

If you are already registered with SellingCars.co.uk and have forgotten your password go to the Login page of the site and enter your email address in the field marked "Email address". Click the "Log-in" button and we will email you your password.

Once registered you will be able to log in and enter details about your current car/cars.
To add a car:
- Login to SellingCars.co.uk
- This will take you to "Your Account Details"
- Dealers - Click "Add a car"
Private Sellers - Click "Add Car" if you have not already added a car or "View your advertised car" if you do have a car
- Fill in as much of the form as possible
As you fill in the car details your advert will automatically be generated in the text area near the bottom of the screen. If you wish to add any further information, fill in the "Additional Description" field.
You are able to upload 3 different images for each car, the field marked "Image 1" will appear the largest on screen.
If you have already uploaded an image but would like to change it, tick the box marked "Delete" and then click the save button, you will then be able to select a different image.
If you are uploading images of your car please be aware that these may take some time to upload.
Once you have finished filling in the car details you can preview the advert by clicking the "Save & Preview" (Private Sellers - "Save, Preview and Make Secure Payment") button. . If you want to save the details but continue editing (i.e. include a different image), click the "Save" button
Once you are happy with your advert:
Dealers:
Click the "Finished" button on the preview screen and you will be taken back to "Your Account Details"
Private Seller:
Click the "Make Secure Payment" button on the preview screen and you will be taken to our secure payment section (look for the padlock on the status bar of your browser).

In order for your advert to be visible to site users you need to make a payment. For Car Dealers the monthly cost is £40 per 10 cars. For Private Sellers the monthly cost is £4.8 for one car.
Car Dealers
- Login to SellingCars.co.uk
- This will take you to "Your Account Details"
- Click the link to "Make Payment"
- This will take you to the "Make Payment" page
- Read the payment terms and conditions
- Click the "Accept Payment" button
- This will redirect you to "WorldPay" who will then step you through the secure payment process
Private Sellers
- Login to SellingCars.co.uk
- This will take you to "Your Account Details"
- Click the link to "View your advertised car"
- This will take you to the "Car Details" page
- Click the "Save & Preview" button
- This will take you to the preview page
- Click the "Make Secure Payment" button
- Read the payment terms and conditions
- Click the "Accept Payment" button
- This will redirect you to "WorldPay" who will then step you through the secure payment process

To view or edit your personal/dealership details:
- Login to SellingCars.co.uk
- This will take you to "Your Account Details"
- Click the link to "View user profile"
- This will allow you to update your details
If you are a car dealer and have uploaded a dealership image but wish to change it, tick the box marked "Delete" and then click "Save". This will allow you to upload a different image (please be patient when uploading images as it may take several minutes).

SellingCars.co.uk has a multi-function search facility that not only allows you to search for a car but also to find your nearest car dealer.
To search for a car go to the Search page and fill in as many details as you require then click the "Search" button. Leaving a field blank will omit it from the search criteria.
You can refine your search by specifying particular features to look for by clicking on the "Search for equipment" link
If you wish to search for a local car dealer, fill in your postcode and, if relevant, a distance to look within or a dealer name. Then click the corresponding "Search" button.
Select a dealer from the list presented and click on their name or picture to view their cars for sale.
